At first glance, this isn't much of a crossroad. Technically, it's only a branch off the main road, at best. To me, this place symbolizes a real-life crossroad. For the last nineteen years plus one month, I've taken the side road on my way to work, following the orange arrow sign. Now my former employer has closed down for good and laid off all the staff, including yours truly. Lucky enough, I was hired without a single day of joblessness. And from now on, and hopefully for quite some time, I'm going to take the main road to my new workplace.
