The ROM contains Canada's largest museum collections with more than six million objects.

A major expansion and renovation of the ROM in 2006 dramatically transformed the museum into an architectural marvel and huge controversy over the newly opened Michael Lee-Chin Crystal as addition to the ROM museum.
