Coronation Street (colloquially known as Corror, Corrie, or "The Street") is an award-winning prime time soap opera set, created by Tony Warren and produced in Manchester.

It was first broadcast on December 9, 1960, produced by Granada Television (now ITV Studios) and broadcast in all regions of ITV almost throughout its existence.
