The Theatre of Small Convenience first opened it's doors in November 1999 and as you can guess from its name was previously a Victorian gentleman's lavatory. Now able to seat 12 people or 16 people standing it was recognized as the worlds smallest theatre in the 2002 edition of the Guinness Book of Records.
The shows put on are mostly short and personal performances, with booking not normally required, it's usually just turn up and request a show. It was in one of these "between performances" that the panorama was shot, with the owner donning one of his theatrical masks. If your wondering how many faces appear on the walls and ceiling, I just don't know.
