Mainly you will just find tourist souvenirs and spices here, but traditionally it was an Arab bazaar where raw silk was bought and sold. It reminded me of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. It was fun to walk around the narrow streets and to check the many colorful items. It was relaxing to stop in the peaceful square where I could have a tea break while listening to the fountain and the street guitar musician. On this little alley, I found clothing and blankets. I enjoyed looking at them, because three days earlier I was watching Flamenco Dancers express their passion with similar colors.
Granada is the city where the Alhambra resides. The Alhambra is a very famous walled city and series of palaces. In my country of Turkey, it is revered as a legendary and historical monument.
I am happy that I was able to visit this wonderful country.
