You're looking at a historical monastary garden dating back to the 12th century.
In 1120 a monastary was founded here and though the buildings were demolished at the end of the 16th century the garden could sustain probably by being beneficial for locals. All kinds of vegetables, herbs and fruits were and still are worth preserving. What you see are people walking through this well maintained garden. In 1998 an organisation now owning the property planned for a reconstruction making the place more visible for the public. Volunteers lend a hand and now the day this picture was taken "Het Utrechts Landschap" had a party, celebrating it's 80th birthday.
Main focus of this organisation is to protect the environment and make possible for all kinds of habitats to sustain.
The soundrecording took place a hundred meters from here where a small band was playing.
