This Artmrket started in 1986 to bring modern art to ordinary people. For 3 years Jan van der Woning has been present at this artmarket to show his 180, 270, 360 and 396 degree panoramas. People come from all over the world to this market purposely or accidently, just passing. Most of them stop at the larger eye catching picture of the Antarctic “Vernadsky” base. Sentences like “I have never seen a picture like that”, “fantastico y precioso”, “this is incredible” and phrases like that are uttered. There is an educational part in it, tell how its done, that people can do it themselves and I earn some money there as well. It’s a great showcase for panorama photography and it gives people a nice moment, astonishment and new insights. Some of the images also tell a story about sustainability or the story Jan tells to the picture. This is also because Jan is a staff photographer of a Magazine People, Planet, Profit. Photographing the latest sustainable progress in 360 degrees! Also more information about sustanability on the new website about a changing climate.
