Movies and filmstars have been feeding the dreams of billions of people since the Lumière brothers gave the world their wonderful present. Movies feed also our nightmares, or show the real nightmares other men and women are living in: it feeds then our justice claims. Movies sustain a huge industry too that film festivals and awards help in promoting.The panorama was taken during the Donostia-San Sebastian 55th International Film Festival and shows people waiting for the stars to come out of the hotel to go to the palace of the Festival. (I was far away so it is not noticeable, but the man waving his hand about to come into the car is Richard Gere, famous as a filmstar and as an active fighter in favour of the Tibetan people).

La Máquina Que Sustenta Los Sueños
Las películas y estrellas de la pantalla han alimentado los sueños de millones de personas desde que los hermanos Lumière ofrecieron al mundo su maravilloso regalo. El cine alimenta al mismo tiempo nuestras pesadillas y nos muestra a veces la pesadilla en que viven otros muchos hombres y mujeres. También sostiene una gran industria que los festivales y premios ayudan a promocionar.El panorama se hizo durante el pasado festival de cine de Donostia - San Sebastián (que hace el número 55) y muestra al público que espera que las estrellas salgan del hotel para dirigirse al palacio del Festival. (No resulta reconocible por estar lejos, pero el hombre que saluda a punto de subir al coche es Richard Gere, famoso como actor y como defensor de los derechos del pueblo tibetano).

Pelikulek eta aktor-aktoresek piztu dituzte milloika lagunen ametsak Lumiere anaiek munduari bere asmakizun zoragarria eskaini ziotenetik. Aldi berean, zineak gure ametsgaiztoak elikatzen ditu, eta erakusten digu ere beste gizon-emakumeek pairatzen dituzten infernuak. Zinea industria handia da, eta
zinemaldiek promozionatzen dute.Panorama hau azken Donostiako zinemaldian egina dago. Bertan ikusten da jendea ospetsuren bat hoteletik ateratzeko zai. Urruti nengoenez ez da nabarmentzen baina kotxera igo baino lehen agurzen duena Richard Gere da, ospetsua aktore gisa eta baita Tibeteko herriaren alde lan egiteagatik.
