This is my local farm, where I buy my food, such as poultry, eggs, cheese, bread and vegetables.

The farmers are making the best “Sauerkraut” in the world, just by adding salt and spices to hand-rasped cabbage from their own fields (which you can perfectly see in Google Earth) and letting the lactic acid bacteria do the rest.

Looking at those geese, I can`t hardly wait until Christmas, when we will have one of them with apple-filling, red cabbage and “Klöße” according to my mother`s recipe.

In total, sustenance for me is, what we say in German: “Essen und Trinken hält Leib und Seele zusammen.”, which means: “Having a good meal makes you happy.”
