Castle Market, Sheffield is a traditional Northern covered market, though this part of it is built in an unfashionable modernist style. The whole complex is due for imminent demolition, with the market relocated to a new site on 'the Moor' - A shopping street at the other side of the city centre.

The area will then be redeveloped as a business district, with the site of the market excavated to expose the moat and walls of the medieval Sheffield Castle (if this still exists).
