Neila de San Miguel es un pueblecito en el extremo Oeste de la provincia de Ávila. La torre de su iglesia, erigida sobre una roca, ha sido durante siglos el elemento más eminente sobre el valle, hasta la reciente construcción de varias edificaciones de pésimo gusto a su alrededor, que tienen un efecto nefasto sobre el paisaje y por ende en el potencial turístico del pueblo y de toda la comarca.

Neila de San Miguel is a little village in the West border of the province of Ávila, in Spain. Its beautiful and original tower on top of a rock has been the most relevant element over the valley, until the recent construction of several buildings around it, sample of the worst taste, that have a very deep impact in the landscape around and also in the tourist potential of the village and the region.
