Look East from Taiwan is the Pacific Ocean.
Look North-East is Japan and her Islands.
Look North is Korea.
Look West is Taiwan Strait and then the Chinese Mainland.
Look South-West is Vietnam.
Look South is Philippines.
In the past hundreds of years, the transportation vehicles used in this area are mainly ships and planes, or say, in Analog format. Today, more and more Digital signals are transmitted via man-made satellites.
From NASA web site, I found the images of Space Shuttle and Space Station. Space Shuttle is the vehicles human use to setup Space Station, Space Station is the stop between Earth and the Moon and the Saturn.
