The Sanctuaire Notre-Dame du Sacre-Coeur in Old Quebec, Canada, is a shrine built in 1909 that is almost completely covered by plaques giving witness to answered prayers. To stand in the midst of this testimony to God's desire to be personally involved in our lives transported me from being just another tourist with a camera to someone whose every step and thought have meaning to God. I knew this before walking into the sanctuary, but these are things we need to be reminded of every day. Certainly, there is more to life than this life, not only when our walk on earth ends, but also in the richness of each day.
Equipment
Canon 10D with Canon 24mm f/2.8 lens on a Pinnacle-VR Universal panoramic head http://pinnacle-vr.com . Two sets of 50 images, one at a 2 second exposure for highlights and the other at 15 seconds for shadow detail, blended in PhotoShop.
Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
I designed a universal panoramic head ( http://pinnacle-vr.com )that allows people to use just about any camera with just about any lens. This WWP event was a perfect opportunity to justify this system, as it allowed me to use a longer focal length (24mm) than is usually used for panoramic photography.

The longer focal length results in an image with much larger dimensions, meaning you can zoom in to see more detail. With all of the messages on the walls, this was important. While you can view some of the messages on the full screen version, (which measures 6,000 x 3,000 pixels), in order to truly appeciate the effect, you need to see the original image which measures 20,904 x 10,452 pixels. This is too large to post to the WWP server, so I have created a page where you can download this high resolution file here - http://northernlight.net/wwp .
