Having loved trains since I was in elementary school my first thought when the theme of Transportation was announced for this event was this museum. The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum is located at 901West Pratt Street in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. It houses a large collection of historic steam locomotives, diesel engines, rolling stock and train memorabilia. The focal point of the museum is a large roundhouse with a dramatic interior space. This particular location includes examples of many modes of wheeled transportation. 19 addtional images of the Museum and grounds can be seen on my personal website. This image and the ones on my website were produced with the permission of the Museum.

Nikon D200, Nikkor 8mm fisheye, Nikon MC-36 remote, Gizto Traveler carbon monopod, hotshoe level. PTGui 6.0, CubicConverter, Photoshop CS2, CorelDraw 11 (nadir graphics). Eight images + zenith and nadir.
