The Katimavik Woods Park is a small treed park at the far end of my street with short path joining two subdivisions. In the middle is a small footbridge going over a small creek. In eastern Canada, at this time of the year, many of the deciduous trees turn color. Most of the trees in these woods are the maple tree that turn many shades from yellow to red in the early fall. A red maple leaf is the main symbol on the Canadian flag. At this point only a very few leaves have changed color.
