The Val Ennuye is famous for its apricots, which are cultivated in small- to medium-sized orchards. But apricot trees not only need plenty of sun, they also need water, which is becoming increasingly scarce. For this reason, water reservoirs have been built throughout the valley to supply the plantations even during droughts.

You can see a pond between the flowering cherry trees - the apricot blossoms had already faded in April, which would have given a pretty boring panorama.

I have already taken a panorama for the WWP of the beautiful rock in the background in winter.

Fun fact: 'Val Ennuye' can also be read as 'boring valley' in French. However, the valley is anything but boring; it's actually very beautiful.
