This panorama was taken on the drive from the 2007 Panotools Meeting in Lucerne to the exhibition of Matthias Taugwalder in Schwyz.
In the van: Wim Koornneef (without hat!) and Claudia Betschart on the back seat, Jeffrey Martin and me (driving).
The van (called Fossil), then 40 years old, was revived countless times by my father (repairing engine and gear) and me (welding).
The panorama was actually taken by Jeffrey since I had to drive. Later he discovered that on one image I was picking my nose, so he didn't stitch it.
In 2015, years after we finally lost the van due to a car crash, I asked Jeffrey whether he still had those images. He promised to search for them and I waited patiently. In fact I had lost hope when in August this year Jeffrey sent me the raw files, just in time for the Revival event.
Fortunately there was a second picture with my hands on the steering wheel as prescribed...
