Glass in Noblessner. The Light and Silence in Sound
2017
The installation of the mirror music stands at the Noblessner foundry is an installation toying with the light and expanse of this extraordinary and unusual space. The installation references to changing purpose of the space and implies towards the need for constant redefinition of the environment.
The Noblessner, once a significant shipyard for Russian Empire submarines, was founded in 1913 at the dawn of the approaching World War I in Reval (Tallinn’s former name). The foundry of Noblessner - an able space with extraordinary acoustics - has currently morphed to a beloved venue for cultural events, concerts and exhibitions. In 2018 the space will introduce a unique experience/entertainment center of Virtual Reality.
