I just wanted to try something new, a weird idea: To take a 300 megapixel panorama handheld and swimming. Shown here as a 72 megapixel version due to size restrictions.

The Plage de Piemanson is a more or less wild beach near the mouth of the rhone river in the camargue we try to visit each pentecost holiday. This time was a very bright day without any cloud, giving a pretty boring panorama. However, it was fun to shoot the 70 images to cover the full sphere with my waterproof point-and-shoot camera.

The last winter brought loads of driftwood you can see on one side. On the other side ther are plenty of mobile homes until the horizon. Apparently they are tolerated, but not to park the car where ours stands...
