This might be a bit of a stretch to fit the theme, but let me tell the story.

My wife Nora is frequently my companion on panographic expeditions, but she studiously avoids taking photographs. She is in hundreds of mine, and behind the camera in thousands, but had never before shot one.

Ironically for a 360° photographer I suffer from vestibular disease, also known as vertigo - I get suddenly dizzy, sometimes for no apparent reason, or in response to certain stimuli. On this particular afternoon we had gone to a certain amount of effort to get to the lighthouse at Point Arena during its open hours. Unfortunately, I had been verging on a serious attack of vertigo all day, and knew that climbing 120 feet of spiral staircase up the lighthouse tower would be suicidal.

So, I gave Nora a one-minute lesson in 360 photography, and sent her up. She's a smart girl and did a great job. You can see me standing by the small building east of the tower. Nora's first 360° panorama!
