This is the dusty and barren reading room that once housed the Romance literature stacks in the old library. The panorama reveals a lighting system that allows natural light to pass through floors and ceilings made of glass blocks.
The meaning of Romance in literature started out with the medieval ideal of Chivalry. Most likely there was once a copy of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet sitting on its shelves.
On a personal level, we open doors everyday. How many will say "Romance"? We travel through life encountering interpersonal relationships. Some are affectionate and romantic. The most poignant of memories are those that were lost but not forgotten.
We all carry around a few broken hearts... Damm if that girl back in college didn't dump me while "Bridge over Troubled Water" was playing...
