Spanning the two shores of the Vltava River is the historical Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic. The construction of the bridge was finished in the beginning of 15th Century. The bridge is 516 meters long and nearly 10 meters wide. During the day it is a very busy place with caricaturists, puppet performers, gift sellers and numerous tourists crossing the bridge. But during the night, the bridge is so quiet as its overlooks the serene shoreline of the Vltava. The river is dotted with historical buildings from every major architectural style of the last two millenniums. Prague looks timeless.
