Over the course of the 1970s and 1980s the flat roof building was completed (it was built in 3 sections started from closest to the camera) with the later pitched roof buildings being added in the 1990s.
1999-2000 was pivotal. Hewlett Packard split its operation into two and this site became part of the new Agilent Technologies. It also marked a high point for the site in terms of employment - to house all this activity there were several temporary structures, mostly on the far side of the larger pitched roof building.
Since then economic conditions, re-structuring, and a move to far-eastern manufacturing means that many of these buildings now lie silent and the company has announced it will leave here in 2010.
Time to move on. In 1966 this was a green-field site, since then it has been surrounded by residential zones and will almost certainly be demolished for housing.

This technique produces two hemispheres, and a different workflow in PTGui from the classic ground pano technique. This results in lower resolution BUT impossible angles!
