Statue on a small hill, a woman staring at the horizon for her husband' return, monument for those who have not returned from sea.

Times have changed. This island 'Terschelling' now for a large part derives its income from tourists.

Panorama was taken during the Oerol festival, a very popular 'theater' festival, Terschelling being the stage. Plans are there to copy the idea to an island near NewYork.
