The panorama opens with a view of Peter, a member of the band "Smeis Good" . Turning around to the left is Wil and Jan. The band doesn't exist anymore, but a few members often see each other and have become good friends. Here we are in "Baer de Woers" a nice café where we are enjoying a glass of beer. When I suggested that I shoot us as a theme for this wwp, they agreed right away. It is just a small community but it is really a good one!

Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
We received quite a lot of attention during shooting. The patron of "Baer de Woers" is an acquaintance of ours. He sat a while with us and told us humerous stories and jokes that made us laugh and more relaxed. In the mean time I took most of the shots, - except the shots of me- they were taken by Peter.

I recorded 21 shots and used 6 of them. I had the camera mounted on a table tripod . To minimise vibration I started a shot with a remote switch and used the mirror lock up and timer. After studying testshots I selected F5.6 and a shuttertime of 3 seconds.
The use of a separate indirect flash for better illumination was disappointing. I couldn't get the right combination of good illumination at the front and the back. As well as that the facial expression looked too "frozen".
I therefore chose to use the shots without extra flash. As a result we moved during exposure and that's not turned out too bad at all. It gives a more expressive look.

The wwp text on the table was made with xara xtreme. It looks as if it is carved in the wood. A "cool" finishing touch !
