School's Out For Summer!!! (with apologies to Alice Cooper)

This year the Summer Solstice fell on the last day of school here at the Lewiston-Porter Central School District.

Lew-Port has a 20+ year tradition of the elementary school staff coming out to the parking lot and waving goodbye to the students as their buses leave the campus for the last time before the summer break begins.

This event is a perfect example of the Education Community here at Lew-Port. It is also a good metaphor for myself as I am leaving the school after 3 years on the school board (but I don't get to ride the bus when I go).
