In São Paulo, lots crossed by power lines are leased as "nurseries" for plants or vegetable gardens and they are considered small farms called "chácaras". Legend has it that the energy generated by the power lines "helps" the growth of plants. At this time of the year there are very few flowers despite the tropical climate.
