I have been fortunate in that I’ve always lived close to wonderful public gardens, which I have been able to visit often. On this rainy weekend at Deep Cut Gardens, I was able to shoot this panorama in between the many rain showers. The rain kept the crowds away, despite it being “Day Lily Day.” Every time I set up my tripod, thunder would start to rumble as if on cue. The rain started up again shortly after I packed up.
