Swann Memorial Fountain at Logan Square
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
June 21, 2005 - 6:59 PM EST
The bronze figures represent Philadelphia rivers: the Delaware, the Schuylkill, and the Wissahickon as the man, the woman, and the young girl respectively. All the sculptures are by Alexander Stirling Calder, the son of Alexander Milne Calder, and the father of Alexander Calder.
During hot summer days, local residents wade and play in the fountain to cool off and have fun.
