Fountain of Paolo Diacono Square

First of all I wish to thank the organizers for the choice of the subject. As I had to do in the past events, they forced me to look for unusual solution. This is the fountain placed in one of the main squares of Cividale del Friuli, which is located in the North East Italy. Cividale was founded in 53 b.C. by Giulio Cesare. Its latin name was Forum Julii, and it gave name to the entire region: Friuli. On the top of the fountain there is a statue of Diana The Hunter, donated to the city by the Earl de Claricini of Bottenicco. Prima di tutto voglio ringraziare gli organizzatori per la scelta del tema. Come e' successo nei precedenti eventi, mi hanno obbligato a cercare soluzioni insolite. Questa e' la Fontana che si trova in una delle piazze piu' importanti di Cividale del Friuli, che e' situata nel Nord Est dell'Italia. Cividale fu fondata nel 53 avanti Cristo da Giulio Cesare. Il nome latino era Forum Julii che dette il nome a tutta la regione: Friuli. In cima alla fontana c'e' una statua di Diana cacciatrice, donata alla citta' dal Conte de Claricini di Bottenicco.
