Kaw Point is where the Kansas River and the Missouri River meet. In 1804, Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery stopped here for several days before continuing on their journey westward. Today the site is a historical park with landscaped walking trails, an amphitheatre and an education center. Downtown Kansas City, Missouri is visible to the southeast.
