At 37.7 acres, Stoner Park has two soccer fields, a playground, one basketball court, one sand volleyball court, restroom facilities, a walkway/bike way path that goes around the perimeter of the park with eight separate exercise stations, plus this tiny Cemetery dedicated to the Stoner family who owned the land prior to it becoming a park. The perception that you need a huge memorial for people or that you just forget they every existed is unique in this tiny cemetery is wrong. Remembering people is important and pays respects to the 8 graves in this notched out area of the walking path. The earliest grave is of David Stoner (main stone), born May4th 1777 died March 28,1836. Every stone in the location is from before 1850 and the site was restored by Brad Leslie (eagle Scout) in 2008
