You'd think that being in Malvern and getting onto the hills would be an easy thing, they're just there, how confusing could it be? Well that's the problem you see, with so many choices and so many things to see, people were left wondering which path to take.

Out of this Malvern's "Route to the Hills" was created. A walking route that would lead people from Great Malvern railway station, through Prioty Park and the town centre and onto the hills. On the way you would find out about Malvern's watercure, Edward Elgar and a secret wartime project. You would do this through a guidebook, information panels like you see here and unique pavement location studs.

There's more information about the route on the "Visit the Malverns" site linked below including a PDF version of the guidebook and if your ever in the area then give it a go, it's loads of fun and a fantastic way to find out about the area and it's history.
