The winter of 2015 was fiercely cold and persistently snowy here in the Northeast USA. Winter definitely arrived in January and continued through to March. Colder air and weekly storms kept the snow and ice accumulating in my backyard. Climate change has affected our local weather making the winters colder and the summers hotter.
