This is a common area at Corban, a small local university, where paths crisscross the natural amphitheater between dorms and classrooms. Some of the paths have stairs, and at least one includes a bridge. Some are concrete, some earth, and some rock, reminding us of the varied paths we walk in life.

Universities are natural places to reflect on our personal journeys, because at such places many begin making important personal choices about the paths that will be walked in life.

But as we look around, we are reminded of paths to be walked beyond this life. We make choices now that determine those, too.
