At the beginning of the valley where the dam is now, there was a Roman bridge, which was dismantled. I wonder, where are the stones of the bridge?
In the center of the valley was a small village, VENTAS NUEVAS, with a spring of salt water and a salt factory. Many times I stopped to contemplate the life of the valley and the extraction of salt, while I drank a beer in the village tavern.
Some memories are erased from my mind, but others will live forever.
Now this is the point of maximum penetration by the old road, after some years of high rainfall, water level is very tall. The dam is at the limit of their capacity.
