This National Stadium with an investment of $100 millions is a gift from China's government to Costa Rica. The stadium was build in a record time of 22 months. Durante la inauguracion del Nuevo Estadio Nacional donado por el gobierno de China a Costa Rica. Los limites de cada uno de los guardametas fueron alcanzados dos veces para cada equipo . El resultado final del partido 2-2. El nuevo Estadio Nacional fue construido en un tiempo record de 22 meses.
