A cemetery seemed like the proper place to think about diversity and life. Life is the ultimate display of diversity. Life in its definition is diversity. From our environments, to species, to the vary differences in our DNA, there is diversity in the very essence of life in every way. In death is the lack of diversity. The "end" of life, the end of this constant diversity. All diversity upon end returns to that point of origin that has been pondered for all time. Everything physical is left behind. The cycle is complete.
This cemetery has trees, and grass, birds, animals, living in it, and homes, people, life, surrounding it. Yet it marks the the end of life. It has stood as a reminder of what inevitably comes. There is no diversity in the end, we all find our place moving towards that same end in the great circle.
Enjoy life and all its diversity every day.
