Today Toronto is probably the most diverse city in the world. Over 200 languages are spoken, over 60% of the people living in the city were born outside of Canada. In the city we have at least three Chinatowns, two little Italy's, Greektown, Malta village, little India and many more ethnic communities. In the Lawrence Market, where this panorama were taken, all of this diversity is exposed. Honey from New Zealand, caviar from Russia, Mexican guacamole, Italian eggplant and veal sandwich, Chinese soy food, Greek cheese pie, famous Canadian maple syrup, Japanese Sushi, German strudel, Ukrainian pirogi and numerous other products are offered just on the stands visible from this spot in the lower level of the market. That is what I call diversity and that is what I like the most in Toronto. Much more information and more squares in Toronto, Canada and all over the world at: http://urbansquares.com
