The Children's Hospital for Wales – the first hospital in Wales devoted solely to treating sick children - will treat over 8,000 in-patients and a further 20,000 out-patients each year.

For those children with cancer, the hospital is the first step on the long journey to recovery.
Staying at a hospital is a frightening time for both children and their parents, so the brightly coloured décor and art work theme for each floor help to distract the child from his/her illness and make the hospital a friendly environment to be in.
