New Beginning: New State Park of an old historic mill site.

Thompson's Mill is Oregon's newest State Park. While the mill has been around since 1858, the State Park has only just opened it to the public. Oregon has dedicated itself to opening one new State Park a year. This park is the 2007 park- a new park open to the public.

The public now has the ability to explore an amazing array of old milling equipment, tools, and history through a tour of the park.
