This is my (beginning) attempt at HDR, not so much the view as the challenge of glaring sun, deep shadow and too much information in the greens and blue. The first attempt came out to 15 meg which was sharper…….

The Stone cottage in the middle ground is a place that tourists can stay in when they come to Waipu in Northland, New Zealand and enjoy the lagoon, one of the first sights that Maori canoes would have seen on their great journey from Hawaii (beginnings).

It is a short drive from Auckland, the (beginning) of a trip around beautiful Northland.
