This is the cleaned mush tun of a brewery. The ingredients for a good beer are cooked in this tub, giving an extract to be used in the process.

The tub was just cleaned and is ready to be prepared for the next loading. The copper glare and the closed tub gave a very special atmosphere in that room. Sounds of the plant, the light glow were very eerie.

Getting in was not that easy ,the hatch was not built for a photographer at all. Also the humidity and temperature were not good for taking photos. I got locked in the tub to make the photos. Unfortunately the battery went out - so I had to call "Service" with a cellular phone.

Of course they cleaned it again when I finished.

Other tubs did not have this special athomsphere, they came a bit cold because of the steel construction. But they actually were not of less interest. They may be viewed in the gallery at http://www.netzserver1.de/pg8 or at http://www.virtugraf.de
