The moment this picture was taken the whole of Northern Spain was put under alert because of heavy winds, hard rain and chilly temperatures - as if to celebrate the end of the winter. Just the day before the surf had hit the coastline with unusual intensitity causing severe damages. The sky changed constantly, I shot several panos on that same day, and the differences between them were dramatic. I finally chose this one, taken late in the afternoon between two showers (you may see the last one approaching from the sea).

Atmósferas
Cuando saqué esta panorámica todo el norte de España se encontraba en alerta por fuertes vientos, lluvias y bajas temperaturas, como para celebrar el final del invierno. El día anterior, un oleaje mucho más fuerte de lo ordinario provocó serios daños en diferentes puntos de la costa. El cielo cambiaba constantemente, las panorámicas que disparé a lo largo de la jornada presentaban diferencias espectaculares. Finalmente elegí esta, tomada al final de la tarde, entre dos chaparrones (se puede ver uno aproximándose desde el mar).

Argazki hau atera nuenean Espainako iparralde osoa alerta egoerapean zegoen, haize-eurite gogor eta tenperatura bajuak zirela eta. Bezperan bertan olatuen eraso ezohikoki bortitzek kalte izugarriak sortu zituzten kostaldean. Zerua etengabe aldatzen zen, eta egunean zehar ateratako panoramiketan nabarmentzen da. Azkenean hau aukeratu nuen, arratsaldean egina, bi ur-zaparradaren artean (itsasotik hurbiltzen den bat ikus daiteke hain zuzen).
