Cradle Mountain: The atmosphere around Dove Lake can change without warning. We were lucky, blue skies allowed us to spend nearly four hours exploring all around the Lake.

This is also the start of the Overland Track, which is one of Tasmania's famous bush walks which can take up to five days to complete.

The area was named by Joseph Fossey in 1827.
