In the globalized world, we are living in, there are rules which must be respected in order not to hurt others – no matter if the discussion is about Islam and Christianity, or a neighbour who uses the grass cutter on Sundays at 7 AM. In everyday life, you cannot live without regard to others, respect against the opinion of other people, and, furthermore, the statement and discussion with the members of our society.
To clear this out, I oversubscribed this daily picture in my panorama deliberately. The panorama consists of 11 single pictures which, in combination, tell a whole story. For the background I have chosen a farcical place at the harbour of Bremen in Northern Germany.I have overstepped many borders: The presentation not only of peace but also of violence, the photography overstepping the border of light and the play with the levels of sharpness and overlapping photos.
