The Space Culture and the exploration and use of space and outer space is essential. Especially now, after seeing the end of the historic shuttle program, NASA, the Space Program and the advancement of technology in general more than ever need our support. It's vitally important that the United States does not tarry in the advancement or furthering of exploration and experimentation in outer space. The Space Program has historically been a significant influence on today's technology and modern medicine not to mention many other fields. Our presence in space will continue to keep America at the forefront of technological innovation and advancement in other fields.

Featured here is a the closest shot I could get, from east of The Forum in Inglewood, CA on Manchester Blvd as the Space Shuttle accelerated to top speeds of .4 mph on its voyage home. Amidst a throng of thousands I witnessed the space shuttle land at LAX after flying over many parts of the city and LAX a couple times, and then the time came for it to go to its final home, on the streets of Los Angeles
