Taitung Forest Park
On the North and East sides of town the Taitung Seashore Park and the attached Taitung Forest Park are extremely popular with both locals and tourist alike. With miles of cycling and walking trails as well a beautiful and surprisingly undeveloped seashore these parks offers a perfect chance to experience Taitung's laid-back lifestyle and clean ocean air. There are bicycles for rent at several places along the beach and at the entrance of the Forest Park

台東森林公園
台東縣政府將黑森林與海濱公園綠意連成一片，規劃而成一處市區休閒森林公園，此公園是一大片面積的木麻黃防風保安林地，由於木麻黃顏色較深，遠遠望去林相黝黑，因此又稱為黑森林，且緊鄰海濱公園，成為台東市區最大型的休閒公園，是完整的生態區與運動休閒的最佳場所，也是台東市近郊炙手可熱的遊憩景點，全家的目標就是來一趟愜意又悠哉的自行車之旅。
