Mont Raimeux is a high plateau rather than a mountain, in the Jura region of Switzerland. The plateau extends for about 6 x 1 km at 1100 to 1300 m above sea level and is surrounded by step drops of a few hundred meters, mainly covered by forest. The panorama was taken on the way up to the plateau in the steep rocky side. The wood contains beeches (Fagus sylvatica L.), pine trees (Pinus sylvestris L.), sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus L.) and other tree species.
