At least three times a week I pass this beautiful spot in the woods near Mils bei Hall. Absam, Mils, Gnadenwald and Baumkirchen are the names of the small villages next to this elevated woodland scenery on the so called "Gnadenwald Terrace" in the Inn Valley in Tirol. The images were taken right before sunset. Just the tips of some mountains (named Bettelwurf, Hohe Fürleg, Walderkampspitze and Hundskopf) belonging to the Karwendel Mountain Chain are still in the sunlight. I can only agree with Robert Lee Frost "The woods are lovely, dark and deep." (from the poem Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening).
